Helping with Japan

Everyone is aware of the troubles the residents of Japan are facing and we are trying to help out a bit.  Growing up in Vancouver, I know a number of people who are from or share their ancestry with Japan. On a personal note my grandfather was born in Japan, I've yet to visit the country but love the food, the culture and it's people.

We have partnered with a local group called Plates4Japan (plates4japan.com) and are raising money to be donated to The Red Cross for disaster relief in Japan.  On Tuesday April 12 we will be donating $2 from each entree sold and for the month of April we will be donating $0.50 per pint of Sapporo Draft beer sold.

Our hearts and thoughts go out to the residents of that country and to the brave souls who are doing their best to help those in need as everyone struggles to rebuild their lives and their country.
